Roots and Water is a visual reflection on the invisible link between origin and flow. In this work, gesture becomes narrative and pictorial matter turns into memory. Roots (symbols of grounding and identity) delve deep into the inner self, while water, fluid and alive, evokes time, transformation, and the inevitability of change.
In Ivan Pili’s signature style, the figure emerges as an evocative presence, suspended between silence and narrative tension, between the real and the imagined. The piece speaks not only of belonging but also of rebirth and metamorphosis.
